From the first phone call to the final reveal, this salon has been top-notch! Patti was so wonderful at my initial consultation and totally understood my vision. Patti is so amazing at what she does! She listens to what you're asking for, asks questions to clarify and we agree on everything before she even begins. The customer service is top notch as well! I've only one had a slight issue and Patti was so helpful and compassionate, it was resolved in the blink of an eye. A strong customer oriented model. From making the appointment to being greeted at reception to meeting my hairstylist was the most pleasant experience I’ve had in a very long time. I have been searching for someone to do my blonde highlights the way that I want them done instead of how the hairstylist thinks it should be done and Diana was incredible. Not only did I fill out a sheet upon arriving about my hair, what I like about it, what I don’t like about it, and then she sat me down and went over all this to me and I explained what I wanted and she nailed it. i had a great experience with melissa. since it was my first time at the salon and with her she took the time to make sure she gave me the color and cut that was right for me. i was happy with the safety precautions being taken, i.e., sanitation and masks. if i could have changed one thing it would be that i was in her chair at my appointment time instead of 30 minutes later. i am excited to come back on april 0th.

She has come a long way and has learned so much - I can see the changes when she does my hair- be it a cut, color or blow dry. She is a very pleasant, warm and friendly person. She meets her challenges very well. I said challenges because I am very picky about my hair and keep changing my style. Love the place, love everyone in the Salon. If you are a client of Tekniques that is not as big a problem as you would think. They get it.Client first. I’ve been going to Tekniques for a couple of years now, as before I had been to so many other places without finding a stylist/colorist that was worth going back......or after a few visits the standards went downhill. Tekniques was different. All of their employees are friendly and genuine. The owner is very nice. After my stylist moved away, it was easy to use another one there. I’ve used several and all were good. My favorite is Laura. All salons are pricey these days, but I always feel good when I leave and it’s worth the money. You only get what you pay for is my motto. Thank you all at Tekniques for your professionalism, knowledge, and kindness. I won’t be leaving!!!

In all areas, Tekniques’ employee give superior service and value. I love coming here! From Patti, the owner to her staff, all are talented, kind and welcoming. It is true in business that the mores are set by management and this is definitely the case at Tekniques. Patti coaches and also fully engages her staff in training and I often see the seasoned stylists/colorists coach the younger stylists/colorists effortlessly. That’s the way it should be! It is a Eufora shop and I can’t say enough about the quality of the products.

Waxing services have been excellent. Even enjoy getting my hair shampoo’d. Lots of interesting and cute and trendy retail reasonably priced, if you need a last minute gift or an accessory to complete your outfit.

The hair stylists at Tekniques are excellent, trendy and knowledgeable! The coloring used here is Eufora and it leaves a lovely sheen and color. The technicians are exceptionally trained in coloring by the owner. She and some of her staff travel to the yearly trainings. I can’t say enough about this group of professionals. I was asked three times during my color and highlights if they could bring me anything - tea, water or coffee, a magazine. They’re amazing!

As always, I view a trip to the salon as a treat. I feel that Tekniques is always "current" in that stylists and the salon in general keeps up with new styles, colors, cuts. I had a cut with Melissa yesterday and was totally satisfied. (got a few compliments, too) One thing that I do not care for is the closeness of the wash sinks. Some people are very loud and cannot put their phones down. Yesterday, the patron next to me was on her phone loudly speaking to someone before her wash. The assistant that I had wash my hair made for a pleasant experience. I believe her name was Amanda???? Carol Pisacka

I see Melissa every 4 weeks for my color. From the moment you walk in the door until the time you leave, you feel like family. They take your jacket, bring you to the color station where they have a TV & tons of magazines to read while your color sits. The hair washes are unbelievable, I almost fall asleep everything. Tekniques was/is a great place to stop for a break from the busy holiday shopping. In addition to getting a great hair service from Melissa, the ambiance of the salon is relaxing yet still very festive. Music played, I enjoyed a great cup of coffee and picked up a few gifts. The front display of gifts is attractive while not being over the top crowded or taking over the salon. Of course my primary concern is satisfaction with my hair, it is definitely a bonus to have a relaxing experience in a pleasant atmosphere. Kudos to the owner, Patty, for achieving both. I was a little surprised to learn that after my sons visit and I was checking out that I was paying about $7-10 more because they have “different level of stylists”. Our original appt was with another stylist who ended up not being there and when we were reassigned they never told us about the upcharge.

Very satisfied with skill of stylist. Salon has a nice ambiance bc I think the experience is important also. The only negative was the volume of the radio and choice of radio station. I understand you must appeal to multiple customers, it just would not have been my choice. I mentioned this at the end when I was in the chair for a blow out. Stylist offered to turn down but at that point I was leaving shortly.

What an awesome experience! The warmth and friendliness you feel from the moment you walk in the door is great!! Everyone is smiling and says hello. The salon is elegantly decorated. There are designated areas for shopping (accessories and products) that are tastefully showcased. I especially liked how Patti asked me questions of my hair care...my likes and dislikes...what would make it easiest for me. Patti took the time to explain how she was cutting and drying each area of my hair. I left loving my cut and can’t wait to return. They offer discounts and incentives for your upcoming appointments. Thank you for an awesome experience!!

This was my first visit to Tekniques hair salon and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. I had the Keritin treatment and was extremely happy with the results. Laura was my hair stylist for the day and she was absolutely amazing! She asked me questions about my hair to make sure I was getting the correct process down for the results I wanted. She always checked in with me throughout the whole process and explained each step as she did it. Laura is a talented hair stylist, a friendly person and very easy to talk to! So happy with the results and so glad I met Laura...I now have a new fabulous hair stylist! Thank you Laura!☺?

I am a first-time customer and felt comfortable with the salon. Friendly, helpful staff. And that was important since I was there for 2.5 hours. Sharen was attentive when during the entire process. I am happy with the results so far: no toxic smell, no formaldalhyde. It is pricer than the other keratin at the other salons, but it is worth it. (No risk of cancer.) I got a first-time client discount and free shampoo/conditioner. I am planning to return.

Patti is a master artist and such a positive, fun professional. Her team is kind, attentive and jovial. My highlights look beautiful and natural, my haircut is sassy and polished and the keratin treatment transformed my course hair to a silky and luxurious mane. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Love this happy place!!

From the minute you walk into the salon you feel at home. Love being greeted by name by the friendly staff. I can’t say enough about how much I adore, respect and value the relationship I have with Barbara (whose contact name in my phone is “the best hairdresser in NJ) She understands me and my crazy head of hair.
